Thimphu; My capital City

Having walked through the Clock Tower square for some time, I came by Jojo’s building to play Mortal Combat Annihilation. Generally, I’d like to think that humans are intelligent creatures; we undoubtedly have conquered all things necessary. The whack Lui Kang gives to to Shao Kahn is the perfect impersonated guilt. I love the moves. All I do is just put my right thumb up and swing the other thumb in circle. A perfect virtual kick indeed and that took Shao Kahn into his own realm.

Thimphu is such a lovely city. Despite the fact that I moved in here for just two years ago I feel like it is my hometown. All my Yangchenphug classmates claim that it is their hometown. But Thimphu is more than that. The segments of unattended dogs, the wavering highway besides a wavering Wangchu river are the perfect depiction of its beauty. The elegant Buddha Statue shining all way from Kuensel Phodrang is the magic possible only as mirage. The serene natural beauty at around all the green belt zones signifies the lump of beauty in the capital of Bhutan.

Besides its beauty, there are lots of things that I enjoy in Thimphu. The public show hosts are best performed on CT square stage which is the most favorite to hang out in the city: The Ambient Cafe, The Centenary Coronation Park, the underground bowling alley, the Karma’s Café, Thai temple near Hongkong Market and so many other countless venues that usually frequent in. The drayangs help; they partially blind the deep sleep as the dusk has just peeped in the lighted bar.  No matter how dark the tint; hundreds of bandwagons seek in to wipe away their boredom. . What startles me is how the dancers dance and sing; they get along well despite the fact that there were hundreds of eyes on them. Adorable!!@!!
So, what makes Thimphu special? Well there are reasons that make Thimphu special, of course some I have already mentioned. If you are a tourist or a visitor coming to Thimhpu, there are plenty of choices offered. It has hotels ranging from five stars like Aman Kora, Taj Tashi, Terma Linca etc... to three and two stared hotels like Kisa, Phuntsho Pelri and all. Most of Thimphu’s restaurants and hotels ensure you the best prices. They focus on quality with lowest prices.
Thimphu is blessed valley with lots of sacred places. Just within the city; we have Changangkha lhakhang, likewise Zangdopelri near vegetable market; we have memorial choeten where hundreds of people flush in everyday. And besides we have sacred place near Lungtenzampa blessed by the Phajo Drugom Zhipo.  If you want to make a trip; there is Phajodhing which is nearly three and half hours walk from Sangay gang.  Towards the northeast; we have Doedadrak, likewise so many other lhakhangs like Wangduetse; thradagoenpa; Talakha Goenpa and Dechenphodrang constitute Thimphu.
While watching TV, you get to know how powerfully the tradition has been blend with modernization. Walking around the city, you will see people playing golf and at the same time archery, singing and celebrating karey, a perfect blend. More so very often you can see few groups playing basketball in YDf hall.

True to character, Thimphu is cleaning up herself as it is transitioning towards the status of neighboring country’s capital. I love my city. To those who doesn't  you need to hang out for some more time …
